  7. This is a Graphical User Interface - GUI (MUI) that you can use to simplify
  8. your work when you're encoding Mpeg Audio (MP3) with some of the most
  9. popular CLI-based Mpega Audio encoders on the Amiga!
  10.  
  11. You can easily create a filelist and then execute it to encode alot
  12. of file over the night or so!
  13.  
  14. The ID3-tagging is superb when you are using a list!
  15. You can set individual ID3-tags for every file, or the same tag with
  16. f.ex only Title differing for a whole bunch of files!
  17. There are also some "intelligent" string extracting feature to use
  18. when setting ID3-tags :-)

  20. The GUI can be totally, or partly hidden (only showing progress)
  21. when encoding!

  135.   you can set one tag for a group of files and use the filename
  136.   as ID3-Title!

  141.   The time factor (encode/play) is also saved when you save
  142.   prefs so that time estimates will be more accurate the next

  258. What systems these encoders actually work with am I not quite sure of,
  259. so don't be alarmed if it says (above) that an encoder doesn't work
  260. on a particular system (PowerUP, WarpOS..), cause it might, or might
  261. not..!
  262. There might also be other ports of some encoders that this program
  263. is not fully compatible with!

  265. If anyone would come up with some other encoder I don't know about
  266. and you want a GUI for it, just tell me where to get it and it
  267. might end up in TheMPegEncGUI v2.1 :-)

  272.  TheMPegEncGUI is Key-mail Ware which means that you have
  273.  to send me an e-mail with your name to get a key-file so
  274.  you can get rid of all annoying requesters and text! :-)
  275.  It's absolutely free, I just want to know how many cool
  276.  users I've got :-)

  278.  Please use the Easy register that pops up when you start the
  279.  program. You can also reach it from the Project menu in the
  280.  program.

  282.  Your name will ofcource not be used for anything else
  283.  than to create your personal keyfile which will be sent
  284.  back to you ASAP.

  286.  - And don't forget your NAME! Otherwise I can't generate a keyfile!

  289. NOTE: If you have problem to get TheMPegEncGUI started, it's probably
  290.       because it can't fit on your screen :-(
  291.       It's virually impossible to get all Lame and Mpega settings to
  292.       fit in 640*200 or similar.
  293.       But if you can set smaller checkmark images in you default MUI
  294.       it might help.
